If all of your predictions come true tonight, we’ll be sure to have some sort of celebration. Without any more wait, though, here are the big results. George Strait and Reba Announce Tour
Posted on November 3rd, 2009 No comments- The King and Queen of Country music have announced a four month arena tour to begin in January of 2010. George Strait and Reba will perform cuts from their new albums, as well as all the classics, in stops ranging from Baltimore, MD, to Des Moines, IA. For a full list of stops, visit here.
- Lyric Street Records has restructured, announcing what it calls a “shutter” of sister-label Carolwood Records. Much of the Carolwood staff will transfer over Lyric Street, but at least three regional staffers have been let go. Love and Theft and Trent Tomlinson have been transferred over to Lyric Street, already the home of Rascal Flatts, Bucky Covington, Sarah Buxton, among others.
- Billy Currington will be a special guest at the 83rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. The parade will run from 9 a.m. to noon (all time zones) on NBC.
- In other parade news, John Rich will be the Grand Marshall for the 57th Annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade to be held on December 4th. The event benefits Share The Warmth, an energy assistance program that helps those who struggle to pay their energy bills.
