Anderson, Caitlyn & Will Leave Columbia Records
Posted on October 6th, 2009 3 comments- After dropping Keith Anderson and Caitlin & Will from its roster, Columbia Records has confirmed that Caitlin Lynn and Will Snyder have split as a duo. Future plans for the two are uncertain as of now.
- Trace Adkins and Martina McBride have announced the “Shine All Night” tour, sponsored by SunnyD. The tour kicks off November 20th and run through April of 2010. Both artists will perform full-length shows. Blake Shelton and The Lost Trailers will join on select dates,
- Luke Bryan’s “Doin’ My Thing” album is only $3.99 today at Amazon. Toby Keith’s “American Ride” is also in stores today,
- This weekend’s annual Farm Aid concert near St. Louis, Mo., brought in over 21,000 fans for the daylong event. Performers included Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Gretchen Wilson, John Mellencamp, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews and more.
- The first round of performers for the CMA Awards has been announced. Names on the list include Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, George Strait and Sugarland. The show will air live from Nashville on November 11th at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
- Tim McGraw will perform on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on Monday (10/12). He will also appear on the show next Friday (10/16) for an interview and another performance.
- After originally reporting that “My Kind of Country” would be Randy Houser’s next single, Universal Records South has announced that “Whistlin’ Dixie” will follow up the top 5 hit “Boots On”.

Where did you hear that Caitlin and Will are no longer a duo?? I have not seen anything on the Sony site nor have I read anything that indicates other than they have been dropped by Columbia. No official announcement that I have seen.

If you look at their myspace pages you can tell. They are no longer a duo. And Caitlin is not even in the top of Caitlin and Will page anymore and I don’t tihnk Will is either….
